The Wasp Queen is the first boss in Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters. When the Hero graduates from the Hero's Guild, his first quest, Wasp Menace, is to defeat the Wasp Queen because she is terrorising the local Picnic Area. She is fairly easy to defeat because she attacks in intervals. First attacks with her base attack then retreating to summon normal Wasps to fight you. Once you have defeated her you will receive your first trophy of the game, the Wasp Queen's Head. Afterwards you will probably find people are cheering you a lot more for maybe the first time.

It is suggested by the Guildmaster that evil forces may have turned the Wasp Queen against you, probably Jack of Blades. She used to be a peaceful creature.

Strategy Edit

Your goal is to kill the wasps in the Picnic Area. If you don’t know how to reach the Picnic Area, then you’re in luck. Not only will you find blinking gold exit markers showing the way, but a man will run up to you once you’ve exited the Heroes’ Guild, and he’ll lead you to the area.

Wasps are only a little more difficult than beetles, and so you shouldn’t have much of a problem dispatching them. After you’ve killed the first batch of wasps, the wasp queen herself will arrive. The wasp queen isn’t all that powerful, either, but she can create more wasps, and so you should try and kill her as quickly as possible. Since the wasp queen flies it's best to shoot her from a bit away and step from side to side to avoid her attacks.
