The Guild of Zeroes is a book in Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, and Fable Anniversary. It can be found in a bookshelf in Bowerstone South and in a barrel in Witchwood Cullis Gate. The book is a parody on the culture of Heroes, and is presented in the form of a journal by one "Zero in training". In one chapter, the Zeroes were testing their guile by playing hide and seek. When it was their turn to find the guild master, it took them all day only to discover that he had been in a hollow tree the whole time. The guild master subsequently left the students hiding in the woods for two days, presumably 'forgetting' to look for them.

Contents of Book[]

This satirical pamphlet purports to be a journal of a Zero in training, and is a thinly veiled attack on the Guild, the self-claimed superiority of its members and the cult of celebrity that surrounds them. The author disappeared shortly after its publication.

Book Collection[]

In Fable: TLC and Fable Anniversary, this book can be donated to the school in Bowerstone South as part of the quest Book Collection. When given the book, the headmaster Mr. Gout is astonished, stating that he believed the Guild had ordered every copy of the book burned, along with the author. He will then recite a passage from the book for his students:

Mr. Gout: The journal of Bloody Nose, Zero in training. Day fourteen. This week we've been developing our stealth skills by playing hide and seek. Knowing how to run and hide from your enemies is an important skill for any Zero, says Daze. He seems to be a master of the art. It took us all day to find him after he teleported away. Eventually we heard his cries and found him wedged inside a hollow tree in the Academy Woods. He wasn't at all happy that it took us so long to find him, but he decided to test our hiding skills next. We must be really good at it, because we've been out here in the Woods for two days now and he still hasn't found us...
