The Potion of Transmogrification, also known as the sex change potion, changes your character's sex. It is in Fairfax Tomb in Fairfax Castle. It was created by Leo Head, a famous alchemist. The effects of this potion are irreversible as the game saves after use and it can not be taken out the room because it evaporates. If you don't drink the potion it will become a trophy named Sex Change Souvenir.

If you have a spouse before you take it and they aren't bisexual, they will no longer have sex with you or seem to be attracted to you. If your spouse is bisexual they will still find you attractive, but the heart over their head will disappear and they will not be counted under the statistics screen. All facial hair remains, the only way to remove it being at a stylist.

Created by the legendary alchemist Leo Head, this potion will alter the very gender of the man or woman who drinks it.

Trivia Edit

• If you have a memory card for the Xbox 360 you can copy the data to it, so that if you do not like being the other gender you can use the file on the memory unit to be your original gender. There is also a rare glitch to keep a permanent amount of the potion by either drinking it, then buying one off someone in the room you find it in, or just trading it with someone when you find the room.
• People will often question you, asking things such as "Didn't you used to be a man/woman?"
• Amusingly if you have a child before taking the potion, the child will refer to you by the gender you are after taking the potion, and the other parent by the opposite to you. A man who changes to a woman using the potion will be referred to as "mum" and the actual mother as "dad" and vice-versa.
• The Base Value of the Potion of Transmogrification is 6969 because the number 69 has to do with sex.
• References to the Hero are changed after you take the potion are changed to reflect the new gender. For example a male Hero is called him in Rose's diary, after taking the potion, she is called her in the diary, even though it hasn't left the inventory.
• Sometimes the potion will make your character look strange. For example: big belly (even with zero fat), larger bust than usual, etc.
• If you take the potion, then sacrifice your spouse (only if heterosexual marriage) to the Temple of Shadows, and the wheel selects the Gender Change, the marriage remains intact.
