Lychfield is a graveyard region in Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters.
Found to the north of Bowerstone, Gibbet Woods, and the Headsman's Hill, Lychfield is a massive, mostly dilapidated area.The main feature of this dead land is, appropriately, Lychfield Graveyard and the Demon Door therein. This area is maintained by the Gravekeeper, who secretly sought the armour of "The Gatekeeper." In reality, this "Gatekeeper" was once Nostro himself, founder of the Heroes' Guild. The door must be opened to gain access to the Old Graveyard's Circle of the Dead and reach the secret passage to Bargate Prison during the main quest.
Although Lychfield is supposedly maintained by the Gravekeeper, there is little doubt that the true owners of Lychfield are the unending hordes of Undead, who spawn infinitely to attack the Hero.
In addition to using Lychfield to reach Bargate Prison, the Hero also ventures to Lychfield in his attempt to rescue the Archaeologist from the Minions
