This is an evil-aligned quest and is mutually exclusive with Collecting an Arena Soul.

After talking with Thunder outside Knothole Glade you can choose to kill him to take his soul.

• If you speak to Thunder several times he will say "Now go, unless you're here to take MY soul... You've taken everything else." This may happen sooner if the Hero of Oakvale marries Lady Grey and kills his sister Whisper.
