Grey house belongs to the Grey family and the current owner is Lady Grey who is now the only living member of the family, as far as we know. It has been abandoned for a long time, and for some unknown reason there are Undead souls haunting the house - mostly the common undead minion, which can also be found in locations such as Lychfield Graveyard. The first time the Hero enters the house, he is attacked by several undead minions summoned by the ringing of an old clock. At first Nymphs reside outside the house, and it is later invaded by various types of undead.

In the basement there is a skeleton holding a letter in its hand. It's the skeleton of a young girl, more precisely, Lady Grey's sister Amanda. The letter states that Lady Grey killed her sister to inherit Bowerstone, believing that Amanda was too kind hearted for the job. In the original Fable, the player could not interact with Lady Grey without this letter, but in the Lost Chapters the player can reveal her deeds, and become the mayor of Bowerstone.

To open this door you have to be a member of the Grey family. The only way to achieve this is to marry Lady Grey. If you do open it, you will find Ronok The Axe.
