Okay, I have been playing this game for awhile now (on and off actually for a couple of years, I'll play heavily and then take off like...a year...but anyway) So I woo, I give the villiager gifts, flirt, and then give the wedding ring. Sometimes I already have a house, other times I buy one afterwards. I'm trying to get the villager to marry me but all they do is keep saying "We could buy a house you know". I've tried renting them out and then stopping the renting (after I've collected some cash) and then going back to one of them I've given a ring to....I get the same response. Other times they propose right after I give them the ring. Niow, I'm wondering if it's just a hit or miss thing or if it's something else entirely. If anyone has any info I'd really appreciate it.
