The Flintlock Rifle was one of the first types of gun ever made, invented in Albion after utilizing gunpowder first discovered in Samarkand. The weapon revolutionized warfare, and was hailed as the second greatest invention in all of Albion's history. First used in the civilian attack on the Heroes' Guild and the subsequent aftermath, flintlock rifles continue to be used throughout Albion five hundred years later, though most armies and adventurers use more advanced weaponry, such as turret, or clockwork mechanisms.
