Blacksmith is a job available in Fable II and Fable III that the Hero can take to earn more money.
Fable II[]
Tap the A Button when the target is over the sweet spot to score a good hammer. Make a perfect sword to increase your gold multiplier.

- As this is the first job available in Fable II when adulthood starts, the player can earn a lot of gold in the beginning by becoming a 5-star blacksmith.
- You earn more gold as you increase your Physique.
Fable III[]
Blacksmithing returns to the game but with a redesigned control system. Rather than waiting to press 'A' on the green sweet zone, you press either 'A' (Green) or 'X' (Blue) when directed on a level paced scroll bar. Unlike Fable II, you increase job levels on the Road to Rule rather than by earning a certain amount of money through the job. Combos multiplies the amount of money you earn just like the previous game but ends at 10 consecutive combos rather than constantly multiplying. (Example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 10, 10... etc.) This job can be taken in Mourningwood, Bowerstone Market and City of Aurora.
