Balthazar was once a resident of Bowerstone Old Town, and was the owner of the Old Town Warehouse. He is deathly afraid of beetles. He made an enemy of Nicky "the Nickname" Chalmers by failing to pay protection gold. He hires Rose and Sparrow during Childhood to end the beetle infestation in his warehouse. Inside, Arfur ,on Mr The Nickname's behalf, offers the Hero a gold piece to smash Balthazar's merchandise and ruin his business. Regardless of the Heroes choice, Balthazar is never seen after Childhood and the Old Town Warehouse is put up for sale, it could be that he sold his warehouse and left Bowerstone to moved to a different place.
