|Damage||23 - 96|
|Augmentations||Giant, Melter, Unholy|
This weapon's name is a bit misleading, as it can actually melt more or less any part of an opponent's body.
NOTE: This is based on the star level of the weapon. Does NOT factor in Strength (Swords, Hammers) or Stature (Pistols, Rifles) multiplier and/or bonuses from Augments.
|Giant||Kill 10 large enemies with flourishes.||+13 Extra Damage|
|Melter||Kill 150 enemies with an unweaved Fireball spell.||+ Flame Damage|
|Unholy||Decrease your moral standing.||Earn Guild Seals Faster in Combat|
Any figures in brackets are where the PC version has reduced requirements.
- The flame damage added by the Melter augment is done by adding the effect of a speculatively indeterminate Fireball spell to each hit (as evidenced by opponents frequently complaining about your supposed use of magic). This can make obtaining the Giant augment after obtaining Melter difficult, as many of your kills will be attributed to the Fireball spell rather than the flourish performed.
- As such, beyond extrinsic numbers and accounting for more dynamic factors, the Facemelter as an incendiary musket/rifle/shotgun hybrid monster whose official stated damage is misleading: one should not under-appreciate by any means the specific potency of this weapon: the maximally-levelled, incendiary version of the Facemelter ranks among the top two or three Fable III "rifles", alongside the Sandgoose and Skorm's Justice easily.
