Large Enemies[]
- All Balverines
- Summoner Hollow Men, including Lieutenant Simmons
- Big Mercenaries or "Mercenary Commanders" similar in appearance and abilities to Captain Saker
- Large, red-clothed Hobbes wielding Master Axes, "Elite Sniper" Hobbes mimicking in their military uniforms contemporaneous British usage similarly, and the "large" variant of the "Ambusher" Hobbe
- Dark Minions
- Sentinels
Ugly Enemies[]

- Hollow Men
- Mercenaries
- Hollow Hobbes
- Shadows
- Balverines
Short Enemies[]
- All Hobbes (incl. Hollow Hobbes), regardless of possible co-existent "large" status, enigmatically

- Mercenaries
- Sand Furies
- Royal Guard
- Elite Soldiers
- Ghosts (Usually also counting as villagers; the "Gone But Not Forgotten" ghost-villagers are also classified as "mercenaries")
- Shadows (Usually counting as human/men but with several exceptions, check main page for details)

- Shadows (certain Shadows will not be recognized as Auroran Enemies; for example, the initial Shadows attacking Walter in the Auroran desert wasteland, are only "men/human", "evil", and "mercenaries". Shadows "summoned" and commanded by later Sentinels, however, are considered"Auroran Enemies")
