The Circle of the Dead is the area of the Lychfield Graveyard behind the Demon Door. To open this door you must gather all of Nostro's armour. When entering the Circle of the Dead you must defeat 8 weak undead, then 3 stronger undead. This opens the secret passage into Bargate Prison.
Also later on, you need the soul of someone old. You can either kill the Guildmaster, or come to the Circle of the Dead and fight Nostro.
